HORSE Poker Rules


HORSE is probably one of the most difficulty online poker game. And it's going to be even more difficult to master. This is happening because you will have to know the rules and the strategies of many types of poker variations (Texas Hold'em, Omaha, Razz, Seven Card Stud and Eight or Better - Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo).

Beginners might not enjoy the HORSE poker game as much as someone that is able to completely understand all the parts that are making this poker game. HORSE managed to attract a lot of attention thanks to the fact that it's going to be played in large online tournaments. HORSE also managed to attract even more attention the moment it was added to the World Series of Poker in 2006. The buy in for that event was worth $50,000, which represents the largest amount that you have to pay to get into a tournament from WSOP.

Right now there are many online poker rooms that are offering the HORSE game, along with the HOSE game, which is a version of HORSE that doesn't include the Razz (Seven Card Stud Low) round.

In order to play the HORSE Poker game you will have to play 5 rounds. Where each round will include one of the following games:

H: Hold'em

O: Omaha

R: Razz (seven card stud low)

S: Seven-card Stud

E: Eight or Better (Seven card stud high/low)

The moment you will play the rotation game of HORSE, the type of the game that you are playing will change each and every time the dealer will make a full round. In case you are playing the tournament HORSE, you will be able to notice that the game will change the moment the round will end. All this is going to happen at the online HORSE tournaments after a predetermined amount of time.

HORSE poker games will not be available as No Pot Limit or No Limit, so this means that all the games will be played at a certain predefined fixed limit.
